Can you add T-Slot Bed Rails (Separate from a Tonneau Cover)

Sorry for all the questions but how did they know to include brackets for the Ranger Raptor? Did call in your order rather than purchase online? Was the install pretty easy?

I figured it out. They don’t list the 24-25 Ranger on the main page but searching around, I was able to find the page that shows one for our model. Thanks for mentioning this cover as an option.

Yes they were included. I ordered online when they had a discount going (Maybe 10% if you sign up for emails). Just let them know the year and model. The custom brackets did come in a separate delivery for some reason (They came with the normal type of brackets as well. I actually started to install it with those which work too). Super easy to install but have another person available to lift onto the truck bed after some assembly in the garage

Yes and the brackets they provide for the Ranger Raptor are custom fit and powder coated black. I was blown away by the custom brackets

Okay, total noob question here. Are you replacing the bed rail caps with these? I've only seen the slot rails in tonneau covers.

No the tonneau cover goes over the stock bed rails

Thanks. It would be nice if someone made rail caps with the slots already in them, spaced far enough apart for most tonneaus. I wonder if there is enough interest in something like that for our trucks.

These are the ones that didn’t work with my trio-fold solid bed cover (bakFlip MX4). The included clamps and the MX4 clamps didn’t fit and couldn’t secure the cover in the correct orientation. (The bedrails were angled downward and wouldn’t secure the cover, and the TS Rails wouldn’t sit flush with the bed side caps)

I bought a pair of these and can confirm they don’t fit. I have a BakFlip MX4 and the clamps are not compatible to secure both the bed side rails and T-Slot rails. I see that you are now offering the MX4 with T-Slots but not for the Ranger. When you can expect to have one for the ranger and can I just purchase the bed side rails as I already have the cover. I now have the t-slot rails that I purchased based on the input from the RealTruck Rep that I can’t use.

Update - 05/05/25 - The website shows instructions for the 24-25 Ranger but not yet available for sale. I called the number on the instruction sheet to see if I could purchase the updated rails with the T-Slot and the person said “no”. I asked if RealTruck was going to make customers with the existing covers buy the complete new bed cover if they wanted T-Slot Rails and he said yes. I could understand the rep saying no if I was asking they give me the rails but I was asking to PURCHASE them.

@RealTruck - you should seriously consider making these available for sale now. I need the t-slot rails, and it’s unfortunate that I will have to purchase a new bed cover. They could sell a bed rail set and provide excellent customer service. I’m looking into buying the Synetec. It looks to be a better option than the MX4 TS and a much better price.

I completely understand the disappointment- the MX4 TS was a highly anticipated product launch, and its new features were some that many people have been asking for. With the newest MX4 that includes the T-slot rails, there have been structural updates to the design. These redesigned parts are not compatible with previous generations of the MX4. For this reason, those parts will not be available for individual sale, unfortunately. We don't want to offer you a product that you won't be able to use properly or that you would have to modify to make work, which would void the included warranty.

We're expecting the application for the 24+ Ranger to be available by July, and I'll keep the group posted as I know more. Feel free to PM me or email me at [email protected] if you have any questions!

Also, if I have a pre-Sept 24 Ranger with the load box/j brace issue, do you know if I need to have the Ford jbraces installed for a tonneau/rack set up? The local truck accessory store rep made it seem like reinforcement parts are sent with product, but it seemed unclear. Thanks!

We know of the reinforcement issue with the new Ranger; I haven't heard anything about the MX4 TS including additional braces for the 24+ Ranger. When the product drops for this truck, I'll get all the information to make sure you're getting what you need.
