Tonneau cover availability

My local Ford dealer in Calgary ordered a Retrax Pro XR, this came within a day with the correct brackets and was fitted. This is the same as the Ford badged accessory that is currently back ordered. Just has a Retrax badge.

Could you post a picture of the brackets? I've ordered the Ford version, but could cancel it.

I picked up the RetraxONE XR Tonneau Cover from RealTruck.com. Shipped and delivered in about 5 business days. It did have model specific instructions, and brackets for the 2024 Ranger. The clamps that I received didn't match those in the instructions, but they still worked. The only problem I ran into with the install is that the inner lip of the tailgate has an indentation and that created a gap where the closed cover would normally have a decent seal. I added some 1/2" weather stripping and it seals fine now.

Could you post a picture of the brackets?

What I like too is it can be down when u shut tailgate. Other options, you must roll back, shut tailgate, then roll them back and snap them down.

I'm at early production phase with these. I've got 50 bracket sets coming from my local metal fab shop this week which means that I should have the kits made up and available to go out next week. This 50 is going to go very quickly however as everyone in Aus is screaming out for them. I'll order another batch of metalwork shortly and I'll get a Shopify site set up so you can order directly from me but that will likely be a few weeks off.

Yep, this is the one for me. I have tracked down a local supplier (as Real Truck won't post outside the US!) so I hope to have one in-coming next month.

Is that Bison’s flip version or the regular tri-fold? And did u install the JBraces or is it under 88 lbs? I don’t see a weight listed on their website for this product.
You still happy with it? Does it keep the water out well? Does it use drain tubes?

Same for me. Took a bit to follow the instructions given the model specific steps but got there in the end. Will also most likely add some weather strip to the tailgate. Only issue, needed to tap a couple of threads due to spray in bed liner.

Installed the Retrax Pro XR on my RR. Love the top but as others mentioned the seal at the tailgate isn't that great.

I installed a U shaped edge bumper directly on the existing weather stripping. So far so good. It still leaks at some other places around the tailgate but that’s not a cover issue.

I went with a Truxedo Sentry CT hard roll up cover. First time I’ve installed a tonneau and it was pretty straightforward. Reasonably water resistant when I washed the truck. I like the canvas look of this cover. I will say that these things (almost all tonneaus, that is) seem overpriced for that they are. This one was about $1100 shipped. Butt that’s the world we live in.
