Canceled Raptor waitlists?

I did not put any money down at Granger. Sales person (former?) Assured me I will be contacted once theres an allocation and I'll be contacted regarding payment and order options. I was #3 so I was told to expect 1 or 2 years tops (after they start building em).

I am on a waitlist for a TRD Pro at a dealer local to me that does MSRP and I'm able to choose color options. If they get an allocation that matches the color option they will contact me to see if I want it. I may be able to move higher up on the waitlist if the color I want (solar octane) has a batch and others above me on the list aren't interested in that color.

I was leaning toward the RRaptor but now I guess I have no choice. If I try to get on any list for RRaptor now at any dealer that does msrp, I'll probably be waiting a decade.

Ps. I'm not interested in the Chevy trucks.

I called after Ford CEO announced it will also be in the US. It was released in Australia some time prior to that. Granger said they already started a waitlist at that time and I would be next (3rd).

The CEO announced the US version after the AU launch. Either way I understand a list but as some have found out they can be meaningless when dealers are involved

Yes, after the release in Australia I learned enough about it to know I wanted one. I figured a place like Granger was reputable enough to honor the list.
