I've had my 2025 Ranger 2.7L for 1 year and 4 months now. At about the 15,000 mile mark (currently at 16k on the OD) the transmission has been acting strange when at highway speeds. If I'm going 70mph on the highway and let off the throttle the truck does a little jerk. Nothing crazy, but it's something that never happened before and just started happening. I don't want it to get worse. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, many owners on the f orum report similar jerks when lifting off the throttle. This is often caused by the 10-speed transmission’s adaptive learning software or delayed torque converter lock-up. You should address this before it gets worse.

As Ford would say..."This is a desirable behavior in the 10-speed transmission"

I was thinking the same thing when I read the title.
ever seen the forum short hand TADT (they all do that)?
It’s a way of brushing off adverse actions as “normal”…

I’d get it to a dealer and atleast document the fact that it’s acting funny, so that if it explodes 1 mile past the warranty, you’ll have a paper trail to lean on…

I've had this too. 2024 Lariat, 13,000 miles. I hadn't noticed it before this summer, but I hadn't taken many highway trips either. It feels like there's "slack" in the drivetrain. You're holding steady, then let completely off the gas, and Clunk.
