There are several YouTube videos with tutorials to custome paint the embles. It seems like an involved process, but I am considering doing it at some point.

Going to use headlight tint which will blacken it but you will still be able to see the Ford through it.

I sprayed mine with plasti dip from a rattle can. Same as I did on my 19 and 21. As long as you mask properly it comes out nice

how many coats did you use? I’m thinking of going this route.

At least 3, but it’s really just by eye. If you do too many it will fill in the letters.
