Did you know....the dealership can see the codes without even seeing the truck?

I had my weird transmission issue a week or so ago, emailed my dealer telling them about it, my concerns and just wanted something put into my file on the where/when and what, so if there are further problems down the road there can be a history.
She emailed me back yesterday telling me she has been monitoring my events through the VIN, (I assume through Ford Pass) and she hasnt seen anything pop up since.

Big brother is watching I guess.

As a tech it’s really helpful actually. I like seeing codes as soon as a see I have an appointment to see if codes are related to any recalls or bulletins. However it only shares data I believe when you connect your truck through the app.

That's pretty cool, do you get the freeze frame data also?

No the code is all we can see and also any updates that are done in the background. It is cool hopefully in the future we can see freeze frame that would be helpful.

Also, AsBuilt on Ford's side now updates from the truck. I tried to restore to a backup from Motorcraft and found out that the AsBuilt data Ford had was the same as the modified AsBuilt that was loaded on to the truck.
