Does anyone know how to disable the pop up in the dash for the seatbelts?

Does anyone know how to disable the pop up in the dash for the seatbelts?

I believe you have the e-brake on prior to start.
Go into Acc mode, click seatbelt in and out 4 times with the forth time leaving it in.
Then you do it once more when it indicates on the screen. This is to remove the chime.

There are a few youtube videos on it.

You can also try FORscan.

There have been lots of talks about this on the maverick forms. Seems like it's all IIHS requirements.

I've done that, it removes the chime that you get if your seatbelt is unfastened but it doesn't remove that stupid pop up that you get when you first start the truck.

I have noticed the pop-up goes away after about 45 seconds if you just ignore it.

If it has a timer, there may be a way to shorten it with Forscan.
