Disabling the USB Media Search Lockout While Driving

Has anyone successfully (probably via FORScan) disabled the nanny that prevents searching USB media while driving? It is the main thing that annoys me about the new Ranger.

I understand it might be more complex than simply enableing or disabling something in the software because this feature has a check to see if there is a passenger and then will allow while driving. But thought enough time might have passed that someone has figure it out.

If you change region to EU it works but no voice control if I remember right. Only if there is a way to set the empty passenger sensor to be always on so you can search with a passenger bypass.

Currently there is no 3rd party providing a bypass solution. I have used Naviks lockout bypass products in the past on my 4Runner's with very good success. They currently don't have a solution for the 2024/25 Rangers. (They do have them for 2025 Sync 4 F-150's and Bronco's..). I spoke to them and if they get some demand they will make one. The other option is to place about 60lbs of weight in the passenger seat

I am very happy that Ford enables the system when you have a passenger. My 4Runner and wife's Volvo completely lock-out the system (USB, NAV, etc..) when the car is in motion.
