Does your Ranger XLT lower bumper air inlet look like this?

Mine looks like it's missing something. There are 2 threaded inserts with nothing in them in this location. This came from the dealer brand new like this. I am seeing photos from the internet with a small rectangle looking plastic piece in that space like the second photo. What does yours look like?

Mine has the center piece but mine is Lariat and there is some electronics behind there, I think the forward looking radar for adaptive cruise. If you don't have tech package you won't have it.

I think that’s where the adaptive cruise sensor is. If you got a lower tier model it might be missing.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have the tech package. Making sure they didnt forget to install something. Might bolt a small plate there to prevent damage to the intercooler radiator. I think that's what is there.

Yes behind that plate is the intercooler. You can see it in my picture.

My XLT looks like yours. It looks like the cooling fines could easily be damaged.

Nice truck! Mine is on order another White XLT/FX4 2.7… that said, an opportunity for aftermarket grille with lighting perhaps?

My 2024 XLT looks like yours in the first picture. I agree, it does look incomplete just like the top end of the motor with no cover.

So I ended up putting in this light for $10 bucks from Amazon. Didn't wire it up though. Helps a little bit.

I ordered the polished with Adaptive cut out to help match the chrome package, but there is a black one too w/o cut out from Putco/Real truck to cover the hole.

I'm concerned with protecting the intercooler from all the sand they put on the roads in the winter...and add some bling!

The link was great to see all the options to choose from, but the company is misleading in their price "from $44" When you select a option the price jumps no matter which option you choose. The picture shows our truck, 2024, and a "Guaranteed Fit" but no $44 price. I don't feel good doing business with a company like that. Like buying a vehicle and being told 5 times this is my best now price.

Yes that box meets the back end of other truck hitches… be careful and check your vehicle if a truck is backed into a parking space in front of you. $$$$ for replacement!
