Yes in an apples to oranges round about way. But i whole expect the RR to be fairly equal to the ST these trucks are fairly light got a lot more gearing and have the same engine platform. Now the TRX hell no Im just sayin i miss mine compared to the RR.
The wheels and tires definitely slow these trucks down , they are heavy and not much grip

Not even close. Even if gear ratios are the same, the Explorer ST is a uni-body CUV and comes with 31" Pirelli Scorpion Zero, while the RR comes with 33" KO3 Trail Terrain. It would be like taking the ST and RR out to sand dunes, drive hard, and expecting the ST to keep up. 5s is amazing for a near stock "mid-size pickup truck" emphasizing the RR is a "mid-size pickup truck."

We had a Macan GTS daily. The comparison would be like saying the RR has a 3.0 V6 TT just like that, even makes far more HP/TQ, so it should decimate the Porsche, but that Macan hit 60 in 4.4s. Then throw in even one turn, and a pickup would be a mile behind.

I.e., sounds like you bought a body-on-frame pickup, but were really wanting uni-body sport CUV performance. If that's the case, I'd agree trade it in.
