Hi, does the exhaust modes in the RR affect the fuel efficiency or is it just the sound profile?

Thanks!

Just exhaust sound, contrary to YouTube video claims, quiet mode does not deliver 28 mpg improvement. ( I fell for that hook line and sinker)

No - the exhaust has valves that are also controlled by throttle pedal position as well as the modes. So if you get on it the valves will open to prevent any back pressure anyways

It’s purely just sound during idle and crusing. which won’t effect fuel consumption at all. If you plant your right foot it’ll be loud and use no matter what mode you’re in

LOL… cursing. That is for Baja mode! I do put it on Quiet on long road trips, to reduce the drone while climbing grades, especially if the bed is empty. With it heavily loaded, it doesn’t seem to make too much difference inside between Normal and Quiet. The biggest factor for long trip mpgs is those darn headwinds.
