Hey Ranger Family!

We just released our install video for our American made CREE LED Spartan Series Reverse Lights on a Ford Ranger with our custom UST (Ultra Short Throw) TIR LENs! We also used our custom 7 pin adapter to make the install plug and play and easy as possible!

This kit is a huge upgrade over your factory reverse lighting and will turn night into day as you put your truck in reverse keeping you and your family as well as everyone around you safe!

Let us know what you think! Are there any other lighting products you are wanting to see for your Ford Ranger? Thanks and look forward to your feedback!

They are bright, that's for sure! I realize buyers need to do research on State and local laws regarding after market rear lighting but are these kits in compliance with DOT/FMVSS 108? Do they mount level with the tow hitch? Not a fan of hanging anything lower than that because it becomes obvious they are not factory and can get stolen easily or get damaged off road. Have you gone off road with these in Georgia clay and muddy rural areas?

Hey @Onceaneagle I went and grabbed this quick picture for you. Of course local laws can affect this but generally speaking under FMVSS you are legally allowed to mount reverse lights in the rear of your vehicle.

The bottom of the light is slightly below the bottom of the hitch post but above the hitch frame and mounted behind the bumper so that the slightly lower depth has negligible change to your departure angle (if any).

We haven't had our Ranger off road yet, but we have had them installed on other trucks that have been off road, and installed in a similar fashion, and have had 0 issues!

Thank you for your support and for being apart of the F150LEDs family :sunglasses:

Thanks. That gives me a great mounting view. Do you have pictures of the mounted duo lights? I am imaging what they look like from the quad picture. Is the mount and wiring the same for the duo lights using your 7 pin adaptor? These lights seem great for rural living where we have zero streetlights and lots of critters. Also do you have a diagram showing difference in range/light pattern for UST, SPOT, and driving internal optic?

Hi, another member here was looking for lighting for the hood scoops, similar to what you offer for the side vents. Anything in the works?

way ahead of you! Also F150LED trail lights!

Those look really nice. I was thinking about duos not quads and if they wire up the same using the 7 pin adaptor. I looked underneath my Lariat and it looks fairly easy to install. What optic did you decide on, UST, SPOT, or driving?

I don't have photos of the duos mounted at the moment but the install is nearly identical to the quad install. The wiring setup is the same when using the 7 PIN adapter as well! I've attached a photo below showing how the lenses affect the lights.

The lights are fantastic for the application you have mentioned. Yes, they are great for more aggressive needs such as off roading but making simple everyday tasks easier, such as lighting a dark driveway, can go a long way!

How does the brightness affect the backup camera? I’ve found out the hard way that the reverse cams have a hard time adjusting the white balance and with the increased white light.

No issues if they are mounted below and behind the bumper.

Hey @KSQRapter We have looked into these but decided against it as we felt the light would be shining directly to the drivers eyesight. Is this something that would bother you? Do you fellow Ranger Raptor owners have any thoughts on it?
