Is radio still coming in clear with the change?
Mine is for the stations I listen to, though I rarely listen to radio. It's usually either SiriusXM or off my phone. I do keep my stock antenna in the glovebox, just in case.

I liked the look of the stubby. I bought the 2" and 4" stubby before I got my truck because I thought the stock one would hit the garage door opener (it did not).
Tried both and both were not good reception on many stations that were not within the immediate area. The big test was to have someone touch the stubby while I listened to a station with poor reception. Each time the reception became clear when a person had their hand on the antenna.
Switched back to the stock one. I too, don't listen to radio a lot, but often enough to need good reception.
Since both stubbies were either 1/2 or 1/4 the stock wavelength, the radio signal amplification just could not overcome the lack of signal reception for me.
