Okay let me try and explain what I may like to try in order to get my Leer HF650M to fit on a 2026 Ranger.
Long story short, Leer’s HF650M wont fit on a 2026 Ranger due to change of rail cap height and it appears Leer dropped support after being sold.

My idea is Lomax has nice bolt in clamps for their tonneau cover (not C-clamp design) and they also sell just the clamps. Now I’m wonder if the Lomax clamps would work with the Leer rails? What worries me is the change in bed cap height may affect the tonneau rails height and in turn the clamps.

So… if anyone has the 2024-25 HF650M could you measure the height of the rail?
And anyone with a 2026 Lomax do the same?

I have not even opened the HF650M box as I was hoping to sell as unopened. Also not sure if I want to experiment due to clamp cost plus shipping if measurements don’t pan out.

I just saw this, but won't get a chance to measure it until later today. I'll try to get to it after work.

Here's a couple measurements off my HF650M rail.

Looks like about 1+9/16" total height. Inside pocket is about 1+7/16“

When I installed this I noticed it was almost identical to the Bakflip MX4 install directions/mounting hardware (I watched their install video before buying). I wonder if you could use mounting hardware from their 2026. Maybe worth reaching out to @RealTruck

Thanks much for the measurements. Wondering about the clamp design you mentioned are they the L shape bolted in or C clamp design?
With those rails from the picture being C like I worry that the L designed brackets would not work.

I did try reaching out to RealTruck and got: For this particular tonneau cover, you'll want to reach out to the manufacturer directly.
Leer has been a joke to get an answer from, told fix in a week, a month, few moths, keep checking Since March!

Yet: RealTruck officially acquired LEER Group (along with brands SnugTop, Century, Pace Edwards, and StateWide Windows) from JB Poindexter & Co. in August 2026.

L brackets being like this

Err, you're correct, the HF650 are a different shape. They're not quite C's, but they definitely are different than the MX4... I must've misremembered.

It seems like the Lomax clamps rely on small groves to secure to the bed rails while the Leer relies on a one large channel.
Thanks for posting the info.
