FMI Raptor Front Bumper Holes Don't Align

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my recent experience with the 2024 Ranger Raptor Front Light Mount Kit for the stock bumper from Foutz Motorsports, so others can be aware before purchasing.

I bought the kit directly from their website, expecting a high-quality product, but unfortunately, it fell well short of my expectations. Here’s what happened:

1. Alignment Issues: After paying $200 in Labor for installation, we realized the product was off-center by nearly a full inch. This completely threw off the alignment and made it impossible to secure properly.

2. No Installation Instructions: The kit came with no instructions or guidance whatsoever. This meant we had to figure it out ourselves or rely on costly trial and error.

3. Fitment Problems: The bumper didn’t fit as advertised, adding even more frustration and wasted time during the install process.

This whole ordeal cost me both time and money, and the end result was a product I couldn’t even use. I’ve reached out to Foutz Motorsports to request a refund, but I felt it was important to let others know about this experience in case you’re considering purchasing from them.

If anyone else has had similar issues or suggestions on how to handle this, let me know. Just wanted to put this out there so others can avoid the hassle I went through.

This link shows how to install, there was nothing directing me to it or nothing was instructed out of the box. A QR code at the least would have been helpful.

Regardless of how to install, the bar mount it self is still too wide to put screws through for it to align with the trucks threads on the frame to mount the bar.

That sucks but sometimes things are slightly off. You couldn't stick a screw driver in one of the holes and get it to line up?

It was too out of alignment to make something work, without alterations to the product. It should have fit/aligned. It's simply a manufacturing error that made it not useable.

Maybe give it another try? The passenger side looks fully bolted in and the driver side looks “off” by similar amounts suggesting you might have some wiggle room.

Son of a ... Well thank you, I did not see that link, but from other YouTube videos figured out how to take off the front bumper. Regardless, THE PART DOES NOT FIT NO MATTER THE WIGGLE ROOM. The bars holes are too wide apart to align with the trucks frame as advertised.

You could simply open up the holes, but then you break the powder coating, and it will begin to oxidize. I do agree, some instructions might be helpful. BUT at the end of the day, it’s gotta fit, and it does not.

Maybe it’s a simple swap out. But I understand if you’re done. I tried super hard to make a set of fog lights work. Bailed.

Seems like a smallish outfit. Maybe the ownwer should be made aware of the quality of the product they are shipping out. Misaligned holes. No instructions. Heck, my Chinese made VEVOR bed extender came with templates and an instruction book. Only cost 86 bucks.

I defiantly understand the frustration, at the point of having the bumper off I would have in larger the holes, installed eyelets and be done with the install. Taking pictures along the way and reporting back to Foutz.

I've bought 2 products from Foutz. Diff skid and lower control arm mount skid and they fit fine. Sorry you are having issues.
