This is my second Ranger in a row. There are a few Ford thing that weren't obvious to me on my 5G, and that I saw people explaining on the 5G forum. I figured this might be a good place to list those things that apply to the 6G.
I'll mention this:
1. When in drive, if you press the + on your shift lever, it will display the gear that your 10 speed is in. If you press the - on your shift lever, it will lock out gears starting with 10 and you can keep pressing - until it hits 1 and it'll not shift at all.
After owning a 5G, I press the + as soon as I put it in drive. The 6G works the same way. As with the 5G, I wish it would just show the gear it is in by default.
What else have you all noticed?
