Some web-rumors say Ranger will have a SuperCab configuration for 2025, as Ford dealerships are seeing buyers going to Toyota's 2-door extended cab space configuration.

If Ford wakes up an provides a SuperCab configuration . . . . .
Please, Please make it available over a wide range of trims/options {Toyota is limiting to a couple}

For example an XLT 4x4 V6 SuperCab with all the available towing, off-road packages of an XLT CrewCab..

Ford Motor Company, official, is a member of this forum - - - They have never posted anything other then an introduction.

So what do our members that are Ford Dealership or Ford Truck Division Employees
know about the 2025 SuperCab ? ? ? ?

I would love to see a SuperCrew with 6’ bed for Job 2 in 2025. Mules in that configuration were seen in Australia and the US over a year ago, so one can only hope. If Ford brings back the wildly successful Tremor package and a SuperCrew with two bed choices it would be competitive with the TRD Off-road. Especially with the 2.7 liter engine option.

Personally, I’m holding off until I see what will be offered from Toyota, Ford and GM in ā€˜25 before I pull the trigger.

Not likely. Changes will likely be just the 2.7l option, colors, and maybe a tremor late. Don't see a supercab that soon.

Sure would be nice for Ford to keep pace with everything Toyota is doing… and they have the models overseas to do it! I’ll take my Everest Platinum please. Not to mention the market expertise based on their full size dominance (ok maybe the expedition is still second to the Tahoe…).

Sadly though I assume / expect / fear that ’web-rumors’ = ā€˜AI generated clickbait’.

Black Appearance Package has been teased. I expect a few more color options too. Otherwise, its anyone's guess. A hybrid is sure to come, but may not be until 2026 or later. I just hope they announce the changes before I pick up my 2.7L. I might wait if they come out with split rear seat, rear vents, and a hybrid (wishful thinking).

Tremor with SuperCrew longbed (6’) hybrid please…. Would love to see something to compete with the Tacoma Trailhunter’s options. Right now, nothing even close… Not even close to the TRD Off-road at the moment.

They sell them in other countries now...I would buy one today...

The ones made globally are not made at MAP. As previously stated tooling costs would not justify the edge case of purchases that the US market would generate for anything other than a supercrew.

Crash testing these variants would cost too much as well.

Having more variants complicates an already decimated supply chain.

Unless you work at Ford, your comment doesn’t address the OP’s question, adds nothing to the thread.
There will be no Supercab until there is, and batting down curiosity or hope isn’t helpful, in my opinion.
If there is no Supercab with 2025 Job 1, Ford has lost a new vehicle sale from me.

I found it helpful because it states reality. Ford does not care losing this market or you as a customer because they know their market of profitability in the aggregate.

What @Raptor1996 says is accurate in that restricted supply chains, tooling cost and crash testing requirements would be an expensive cost. Most of the other global market configurations are also heavily diesel one with frames unique to them and it would not be a simple cut and paste affair.

IIRC, When Ford brought the 5G over, they had to spend almost 40% more of development cost of reengineering the global market model for the North American market. The 6G was designed though with the North American market in mind but not for all models.

Hell, if MY25 offers the 2.7 without 4x4, I'm in like Flynn.
