Ford app login vs web site

Not quite sure where to post this question. I set up a login in the Ford app which is working fine. The web site, ford.com doesn't recognize this login. Is there a separate login for the web site?

They 2 different things, you need to find the app login on ford website. I have a shortcut for mine.

Well, I went back to the web site to register an account and it tells me an account with my email address already exists. OK, try changing password - site claims it sent a confirmation email to my address. Never received email and not it spam folder.
Any ideas?

Similar situation here. Buying my RR, the dealer had me create an account with the Ford App and an account number was assigned. My PC ford account for the former F150 has a different account number, but tied to the same email.

I had to clear the saved pw from the firefox bowser, then log-in with the creds from the Ford App.

So, look in the top right corner for three bars and click.

With Firefox, you will see a "passwords" option. Select this and locate that ford website pw and delete the saving.

With the Edge browser, locate the "passwords" here:

Thanks, but I'm using Chrome browser and LastPass. I've confirmed several times that the passwords are the same. That said, not sure why ford.com can't send me a password change confirmation....
