Front End Knocking & Rattling sounds while Driving and Stationary

Looks like I have the beginnings of a problem.......

Noticed a few days ago a knocking/rattling sound coming from somewhere in the front end when going over rough patches of road. Same sound when turning corners/using roundabouts etc. Sounds a bit like metal bars hitting each other.
Thought might be the bash plate come loose (was serviced mid-December) and vibrating - checked and solid.

This morning at traffic lights the same or similar knocking when stationary - in D with foot on brake.

The knocking appears loudest down in the drivers footwell & on top of the dash.
Put in Nor P it goes away.

I'd be assuming the rattling/knocking while driving is linked with the knocking when idling?

Ideas?

By any chance have you done the aluminum charge pipe upgrade?

Reason I ask:
I had the exact thing you’re describing 100%. And it got worse while stopped and buzzed worse the harder I stepped on the brake. I found the aftermarket aluminum charge pipe would lean ever so slightly up against the brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve (I probably don’t have that piece called out correctly) assy. and it would thunk against the corner of it driving and buzz against it while sitting on the brakes. Drove me nuts. The thunk would come from the engine bay and the buzz from the brake pedal area. Got some space & sound deadener between them. It’s never returned.

Might happen with the stock pipe to. Ya never know. Just an idea.

I’m trying to think of how it could knock with the truck stationary. Driveshaft?
Yeah, being stationary and in gear with the rattle is worrying!
No rattle in Neutral/Park would indicate crank/Trans?
Hoping that it’s something come loose and the vibrations when it’s in gear is causing the knock/rattle.
Booked into the dealers on Wednesday.

That’s an interesting one.
Haven’t done the upgrade, still on stock.
I’ll be having a good look again later today and see what’s what.

not likely, they are most prominent at start up only, until it gets so bad its constant. Rare to have on off scenarios on the same drive.
I had a F150 that the phasers knocked all the time. Drove it 200,000 miles like that.

So it gets worse as the vehicle gets warmer? That’s even weirder.
no what I am saying is when they start to go bad its during start up but when they are toast it will be constant.
