Front Parking sensor - 2024 Ford Ranger

Referring to the thread on Ranger5G

My XLT ranger has reverse camera and sensor, but no front sensor.

Possible: Just need to buy the sensors and the correct wiring harness to power the sensors, then activate the front or rear sensors in forcscan. ?


Does such thing exist, where to get the details of the sensor, harness and installation guide?

I would love to get front sensors as well. Anyone?

I found a interface to connect a front camera to my car. I'm installing it tomorrow. Will make a thread on it later.

Update: Yesterday I installed the trailer hitch and found the connector for the rear sensors. Guess it would be the same at the front.

I'm gonna look in forscan for something related to front sensors to see if there's a way to activate them.

Update: Found something that might be what I need. In the PCM Module, found the "Parking_Assistance" option, with in my car has "Parking Assistance, Rear" value in it. I wrote a new valeu to it, "Parking Assistance, Rear and Front".

Apparently, it didn't change anything. When I use the reverse gear it shows the upper view of the car with some waves on the back, like it always did. I guess that change would activate the waves on the front as well, or even show me some kind of error like "check the front sensors".

Later i'm going to test some other values to see if changes anything.

No

I figured out I had to change the 4 channel to 8 channel parking sensors on IPMA Module and I don't have this module in my Ranger.
