Someone asked about the Rock Rails I replaced the factory steps with. There is a link above for the rock rails. These mount to the body....like most. They also do not protrude at all beyond the side of the pickup. Very easy to get in and out without sliding your leg across anything. The protection is all from below. If you want side proctetions....these are not it.
