i will be driving to jacksonville north carolina and then down to charleston south carolina before returning home in may. should be around a 5k drive so i can report numbers again.

last time i made that trip was in a loaner 2020 nissan pathfinder the dealer gave me while they put an engine in my titan. they were not happy to have the pathfinder returned 2 weeks later reading 5500 miles, ha ha ha. i told them when i bought the truck we had a trip in december so when the engine issue came up, i told them the pathfinder was going out of state. they didn't believe me. that pathfinder averaged 25mpg though, i was impressed since it is three row seating and a large suv

Hi All,
Took my 2024 XLT on it's first long drive over the weekend. About 300 miles each way. Mileage was 19MPG calculated on the way there (19.7 shown by the computer) and 19.8MPG on the way back (20.6 shown by the computer). Drove faster on the way there (going up to 90 in certain stretches) than on the way back (mostly 70-80).
Is this consistent with what others are seeing? I've seen about 17-18MPG in the city. I have 1300 miles on the truck now, and it's an XLT with the 2.3L and the FX4 package.

Seems different Rangers get different mileage. My ‘21 XLT sup cab averaged around 18.6 combined. My ‘24 Lariat (both 4x4, also the 2.3L) is averaging around 22 MPG. Same old driving habits, same old driver!
