In my excitement of finding RR without any paint defects or shipping damage, I did not notice that the hood was out of alignment. Both front fenders at the point were sticking out way pass the hood and looked like hell.

For starters, it is very easy to adjust the hood yourself with out a trip to the dealer. First spray a little WD40 between the hood hinge and hood. You will need a 13mm deep wall socket to loosen the bolts. I started on my drivers side and loosened the bolts just enough for you to move it forward. Then lock down one bolt and slowly close the hood while checking your gaps. (It is important that after any movement you make that you slowly close the hood and check for clearances). Once I got the drivers side to where I think it needed, I then went to the passenger side and did the same. Once you got the hood where you want it, tighten down both bolts.

Once I got the hood straight I had the drivers side hood/fender gap was off. I then loosen up the fender bolts (8mm) and adjusted the fender. I did not need to adjust the latch at all. It is now lined up perfect.

On a side note, as I was opening and closing the hood numerous times during this process, I kept hearing rattle every time shut the hood. Further investigation revealed that they never bolted down the front mount for the passenger fender to the crash bar at the factory. Since it was right behind the headlight and I had no access, so I had to remove the entire airbox assembly to get to the bolt. It was relatively easy, but a pain in the ass. Now I'm all fixed up.
