I know I don't have to announce my departure - but here we are.
I first want to say how much fun this forum is / has been and I learned a bunch and hopefully shared enough through my other posts to help other people.
3 months back I picked up a 2001 Lexus LX470 with the intention of making it a project. Well I was a little too good at it and it's now my daily. Leaving me with one too many cars.
Given some of the challenges with cam phases (2 engine out repairs) that actually didn't fix the problem for me (makes the noise now in the heat) - it was time to move on.
Sold it to the dealer because the thought of the general public coming to my house doesn't work for me. And their checks never bounce. Did I leave money on the table? Yes. Was I done in under 3 hours total? Also yes. For those wondering - Got 50,500 on a 24, 13,700 miles in Cactus Grey.
It's been real - keep having fun with these trucks.
