Installing 35x12.5 tyres on 20" wheels - spring change or coil spring spacer

I am considering to install 35x12.5 tyres on 20" Vossen wheels (offset 0) on my 2025 Ranger Raptor. My off-roading is limited to dirt roads occasionally, mainly motorway and city driving. In order to support 35" tyres, I have been told to either upgrade the springs or install coil spring spacers (2" front and 1" rear).

The Pros and Cons between springs and spacers seem varied, some say springs other say spacers! I feel more towards spacers in order to maintain the live valve Fox settings, compared to springs as they may effect the settings more. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Also, do any of you have experience with if and how the ride quality is affected when changing from 17" to 20" wheels in combination with a tyre change from OEM 285/70 to 35x12.5?

Spacers 1000% the ride is just like the amazing stock ride. I have 35's on mine and it's great!

Thanks Mark for the quick response, your Raptor looks great. Love the wheels (what offset is that?). I was also looking at the G.O.A.T. site. They seem to have very good reviews. Your wheels are still 17"?

they are 12 offset. Most people are going 25-35. I wanted a tiny bit of poke. I like the look of the 20" but you can't beat the 17's for off road.

I agree, maybe I should aim for the 17''s as well. Thanks for the feedback
