There was a Technical Briefing report sent to Ford dealers in the US. I saw this and enquired of Ford Canada what there take on this briefing and recall is. They had nothing to note as it’s Ford US that issued this. However, my purchase in Canada in August was one of the VINs covered as it was produced in Michigan. This annoys me as I’m putting a 5ack and loading the back load box with more than 88kg! I’m trying to get the parts and having them installed here but Ford Canada are no help. If my box does crack I will be after them. Anyone else having the same challenges.

Search J-Braces. you should get them and install them yourself, or have your dealer install them. Mine are on order. I don't plan on installing anything, but, this is a Truck. they are only around $150. Install talk to the dealer you bought the truck from. they ought to cut you a break.
