Max defrost weirdness

so, heres a weird one.
sometimes when i turn up the volume on the stereo, my climate control goes into Max Defrost.
I know the button is right beside the volume, so i thought i'd must have mistakenly hit it. Its so random theres no way a ford technician would ever experience it and come up with a solution.
i very carefully the other day made sure I turned only the volume, and max defrost came on. So I know its not just an accident in tapping the button
Thats not the end either. Yesterday, out of nowhere my fans went to high, as if the auto function was on and it was changing my temp quickly for me. But it wasnt.

I'll be pissed if I have rodents chewing at something.
I think I'll look into a reset of some sort first and see what happens.
You guys have any similar probs or ideas?

I have had the same thing happen when I turn up the volume.

It’s happened to me a few times but it was my accidentally touching the defrost button - you really only need to look at that button wrong and it engages

The fan speed will slow down if you make or receive a phone call when your phone is connected by either blue tooth or car play/android auto. If you aren’t on a call, perhaps an app is accessing your phone’s microphone???
