Hey all
Member of the 5g clan, 2021 ranger tremor.
Planning my next ride, possibly a plain old Ranger 4wd XLT model.

My 21 has been as close to trouble free as it can get for 82,000 miles.

Welcome. I test drove some nice 5g rangers but the look of the 6g and the interior upgrades made that my choice.

I didn't know the trans changed till after i got my 24 ranger. been trouble free and its almost a year old with 13k on it, so far

I came from a '21 STX RWD to a '24 XLT High FX4 with the 2.7L V6. No regrets. The 6G is so much better in ride, power, and creature comforts. My '21 averaged 24 MPG, by '24 is 23 MPG, even though it's 4x4 and a (slightly) bigger engine. The 10R60 trans shifts smooth as butter.

So far my transmission has been fine at 82 k.
But, I’m always worried it will fail.
I just paid my 21 off, I usually move on to something new afterwards
Looking at all the mid sizes this time around.

Work for Ford and drive Fords. Had a few Rangers back in the day but my 2025 is so much better. I had a 2019 Expedition and my new Ranger rides just as nice is that did. I am very pleased. It is also pretty nice when hauling stuff in the bed. Bought a place up north and been hauling dirt and rocks no problem.
