Missing "auto" option control on Climate/Conditioning Air

I’ve noticed that my Ranger doesn’t have the option to set “auto.” For example, my previous models (XLS 2020 and the older one) had this feature. With it, I could set a specific temperature, and the system would regulate the hot/cold control and fan speed accordingly.

However, this feature is missing on my current model.

The controls are also available on the screen, indicating that the device is controlled by the digital part. Therefore, why is this option not displayed?

Are there any updates or hacks that I could try?

For informational purposes, US version Lariat, with dual zone climate control.

The "Auto" button has 3 levels. Each level seems to affect fan speed, automatically. I keep it on the highest setting, with all three lines colored.

When the menu is expanded, dual zone may be enabled by selecting DUAL. Once done any adjustment to the driver's temperature applies to the passenger. If the passenger adjusts their temperature, dual zone is automatically disabled. In the picture below, the red/blue indicators are closest to DUAL, so dual zone is enabled. If dual zone is disabled, the red/blue indicators are towards the outside of the screen.

that's a very good question! I don't know it... Would you know how to verify it?


But I also don't see the "dual zone" thing, to be honest this part made me happy, cause in the two old Ranger that I had, both got issues because the dualzone (something related to the small engine that redirect the air flow)

I'm not 100% unless someone else with an XLT w/300A package chimes in, but it seems like the 300A has single zone manual A/C and the 301A has dual zone electronic A/C. Presumably, 301A package would have the "auto" feature.

I looked up the options in Brazil, if that is where you purchased from. It would seem that the "Limited" trim would have the automatic A/C option, but the XLT does not.

It's actually sad, because the previous versions had that, actually very popular cars here in Brazil have it... "shame on you Ford"
