25 Ranger XLT... does this thing have a mute button for the radio on the steering wheel? I've looked in the manual but can't find anything addressing this....
As far as I know it doesn't, but the volume drops very quickly if you hold the minus button (less than a second for 9ish to 0). Turning it back up is a bit slower if you want a specific value, but still not awful.
The power button in the center cluster also isn't awful to find without looking as another alternative.
I also use the power button. Not sure if it's detremental to the radio. I would guess not!
I really liked the mute button on the streering wheel on the 19 model.
