Hey everyone,
Just ordered my 2025 Ranger XLT FX4 this week. Wanted to drop a post of introduction, so I apologize if General wasn't the proper channel.
I am coming from a pretty good experience with a 2022 Maverick, only problems were some electrical gremlins with the infotainment, body control module and ignition "recently replaced". But we found quite a few occasions that we just needed a little more towing ability or just a little more bed space. I commute about 50 miles "one way" a day for work 4 days a week, plus down some narrow streets. F150 a bit too big, Maverick a bit too small, hoping the ranger is our happy medium of capability and size while retaining some MPGs.
Had a lot of great conversations over in the Maverick Truck Club and it looks like this forum is filled with similar people. I was just checking if anyone has any recommendations from experience of more "important" upgrades or things to look out for after taking delivery.
So far I am considering a Sub behind the seat "saved a post here", bakflip for truxedo hard rollup tonnuea cover, PPF on the front after my chip experience with ford paint on the Maverick, and maybe trying to find a way to get more than 400W power to the truckbed.
Appreciate any information you guys and gals have to offer! Other than that I look forward to what this new truck has to offer.
