Glad to hear that your persistence and patience paid off in a big way. Congratulations! To follow-up, I kept a lookout and a new Ranger Raptor popped up about 100 miles away from me in the ordered state. I reached out to the dealership offering them $1,500 over MSRP on a Cactus Gray w/ Graphics, Block Heater, and Beadlock Wheels. They responded that they don't ever charge over MSRP and that they would check to see if it was available. An hour later I got an email saying it was available at MSRP and I put a $500 deposit on it. It has a window sticker, so it shouldn't be too far off from being built. I will say that out here, the dealerships in CA are really proud of the vehicles they sell. Me being a Ford customer for over 20 years meant jack crap to them. This new dealership who I've never done business with could have said "Yeah, we'll take your $1,500 over offer", but instead came back to me that MSRP is all they need. Wow.
