No start up animation on 26 RR

I got a brand new 26 rr on the Oct 14th and remember seeing the animation when I first got the truck. Sometime in the last week and a half, it disappeared and I didn't even notice until I saw your post. However, I would like to know how to turn it on so please report back if you find out.

it saved Ford $0.03 per truck to not program it in so thats probably why

Well shoot, add me to the list of 26’s also missing it. Not gonna lose sleep over it but might be kinda cool to see it. Then again, maybe I’d get tired of it.

I've had 3 trucks with it. I never minded the animation but the chime sound gets annoying....
I'd love it if I could replace the audio file with a rumbling V8 roaring to life.

Haha yeah, standard “Ford chime.”
I’d love to be able to change it. I get in and out of my work truck (Ford) a million times a day so it’s gotten a bit old!

dealership, it’s getting direction from Ford itself on what to tell me on this issue. I do not have any news to report at the moment, but we’ll see what happens. At this point,, I don’t care whether is there or not, as long as the truck has no issues.

Still don’t have anything to report. I spent all day at the dealership or the truck there is! spent all day there, and they are scratching their heads
In the meantime, I spoke with Ford relation and they told me it could be regional programming glitch I saw a review on a 26 Ranger Raptor on YouTube just today, and in the first minute you will see the animation on there scroll right by.
I will continue to pursue this until I at least get an answer that makes sense, and I will report. mind this, might take some time.
