Not happy about aftermarket parts

I messed up my front bumper. No supplier had anything in stock. Was told it would take 5 weeks to make it. I did not want to wait that long for repairs. At least Ford has OEM parts in stock.

How long has the Ranger Raptor
been out. They are making parts just not keeping inventory. Bet if it was your truck you would say something also

If you like the look and can stomach the price, Addictive Desert Design has a front and rear available for the Ranger Raptor. They're one of the very few with something available right now, but their prices are, uh, a bit over the top.

New model in the US with low demand right now. Vendors are not going to do the R&D, prototype, refine, manufacture and then sit on inventory for a year or so. Unfortunately, they will wait until the demand picks up. Soon I hope.

The Ranger Raptor for the US has been out for less than a year, Realistically probably only 6 - 8 Months if you factor in that a chunk of deliveries really didn't start ramping up until end of April - May.

It's going to take the Aftermarket probably until mid 2025 to get any reasonable Inventory up.
Also it's the start of the new year- Warehouses probably dumped unsold stock due to having to pay taxes on any unsold stock at the end of the year.

The Bronco, Bronco Sport, and Ranger were all the same way. It will take some time for these aftermarket parts to become available.

Let's say I center-punch a swamp-donkey that seem to love aiming for cars/trucks up here in N Michigan. When the insurance check arrives, I get to decide what bumper to replace the bashed one. Chances are - the stock replacement probably cost as much or more -----

The stock bumper is $1365. I know because I hit a deer and had to replace it. So the OEM is half the price. I know other bumpers will come to the aftermarket but it will take time. I haven't found any aftermarket ones that look good enough to justify their price. I figure another year or two and there will be plenty of options with much better price points.
