Once removed you will need to Dremel out the black tabs on the back that holds all the pieces together. Just be careful some areas break easy. I learned the hard way pulling too hard. I scuffed up the chrome as good as I could. Paint never sticks great to these surfaces. Primed and painted and put back together with black silicone.
how was it attached to the tailgate? I watched a video that involved a lot of adhesive to remove. What did you use to reattach it? both you and @White willy did an amazing job! I’m pretty sure I’ll end up on an episode of “Nailed it!“ but still worth a try.

The weekend I did the mod it was 105 degrees outside. The emblem separated from the adhesive very well. The truck is brand new too, im sure that helped. I put together an image that might help a vision. I wedged a plastic tool with cloth on the far outside to get a gap. Then took the second tool and broke loose the tabs working carefully around the emblem. Since you won't be painted the black inner part I used this section to press back on emblem without damaging the fresh paint.

Both of yalls @White willy @NYMPHS look like they came off the assembly line that color. Perfect job!
I tried tinting one of mine and it looks like i “tried”. I ordered some new ones to do correctly. Thanks for the detailed breakdown and inspiration.
Thank you, no problem. Reach out if you have any questions!

This photo is actually extremely helpful! So they clipped in, not stuck on with adhesive. Must have been an older Ranger video I was watching. It's frustrating how little Ranger stuff is out there... so you're contributions are greatly appreciated!!!

Were you able to get your front emblem off without disassembling the whole grill? If so, any tips?
It’s very simple to remove.
Remove the plastic pin clips that hold the core cover down, and remove the plastic core cover.
At the right and left upper corners of the grill, are 2 fasteners you remove.
The grill will them tip forwards and you release the clips that go into the headlight area of the grill.
The clips on the bottom of the grill can be released, and the grill removed.
This vid covers it as well

Be careful with the bottom clips. I broke one when removing the grille. Once the edges of the grill in the headlights are free, its best to pull the bottom STRAIGHT out starting at one side and working to the other.
