I've been having random parking brake faults maybe once a week for quite a while now. One dealer said it was a brake booster issue, but I never went back in to have them "repair" it.

Turns out it was leaking rear calipers/parking brake actuators. The legitimate dealer I went to this week diagnosed and replaced both rear calipers and actuators under warranty.

I know some other folks have had parking brake faults, I'm just letting ya know how mine was repaired.

You know that first dealer was full of it when they said booster....there's nothing connected between the two systems...it's an actuator motor that engages the parking brake.

I had the same issue late last year. Same fix, and under warranty.
