Power Loss

Bought a 2024 Ford Ranger XLT April of 24 end of April experienced a issue as follows went to turn right up a slight hill vehicle loss power I feather the gas and all of a sudden I heard three loud clunk from the transmission and all of a sudden it regained power.
Scheduled an appointment with Ford was told there was no codes and that they reset the transmission may have been a stuck valve. Drove it since now experience two more loss of power slowing down and going over a speed bump vehicle loss power than regained it.
Anybody experience this or have any ideals.

I had an issue of 1 loss of power, slowing down a hill and engine almost stalled out. No other miss haps in 1000 miles

Wasn't there a few issues like this in Australia with the 2023 ranger release? Related to software or something. It's been a while and I think there were only a few reported instances. But normally for that one they couldn't restart the vehicle at all.

Just experience same issue yesterday this time I lost forward motion for about a minute then it decided to respond and I drove off.
I could rev the engine but it wouldn't go anywhere.
It's at the dealership now.

I had a similar experience turning left up a steep hill in my neighborhood. It was only a brief 1 second or so loss of power. It was disconcerting.

Hello. I bought a 2024 Ranger sport in May. I’ve experienced a similar issue with the power loss. It’s happened twice when I am at a stoplight, I have slowed down to wait for traffic, then I proceeded to turn and I step on the accelerator, but there is no power for a few seconds. Yes it happened two more times, took back to the Ford Dealer and they deemed the transmission was defective and replaced. So far no issues at all.
I would take in for a evaluation, the first time mind happened they reset the transmission and valve body. That didn't work see my other post on this.

This happened to me today. Turned left onto a flat road, went to accelerate and nothing happened, but the engine still running. Had the music on and calm screen so didn’t notice whether the rpm went up. Only lasted for a second or 2 then power came back. 2024 Lariat 7500 miles

I have had the exact same issues I have brought it in to be repaired 5 times no codes each time so they can't do anything is what I'm told every time. Report the issues to the national highway safety site and maybe they will recall this issue. I have overcompensated and gave to much gas and I live in Ohio it gets icy I have been worried I will lose control and wreck

Have had acceleration issues since I purchased my ranger xlt sport 2024 even asked dealer before I purchased to look at it and they said it was fine, now 7 months later still same issues loss of acceleration power for 3-4 seconds which every time it happens I worry I'm going to get hit by a car because my truck won't move but Ford acts like there's no issue im not sure if I will purchase another Ford after this they seem to only care when you are purchasing the vehicle

I told Ford about this site and the problems are the same with other peoples rangers who are on here as well as me and the lady didn't care if there's no code they can't do anything is what she said

I had this happen to me about five times. Hasn’t happened in the last few months, but I am worried that it could happen as I pull out onto busy south Florida roadways. My wife also drives the truck and I fear that something could happen to her with this issue. It seems like Ford obviously knows about this problem, so if an accident happens due to this issue and they’re aware, aren’t they negligent for not doing anything?
