Do you have the tune? Did you install it yourself?

Yes. No, I had the dealership service do it. You can simply load everything ahead of time and do not push the download button.

You can easily install it yourself but no warranty on the unit or tune. However, you need an ASE certified mechanic to do the actual download to keep the warranty intact for the Procal and tune.??

Got the tune done on my 2025 Ranger Raptor Tuesday morning. Transmission is much smoother. Can’t really tell on horsepower yet. I’ll have to give it some time. I’ve been driving around for a month with a Roar Pedal, but I removed it before the tune this morning. Still a slight delay pressing on gas from a stop. May put the Roar Pedal back on with the tune and see how it feels.

Nope, the 3yr/36K warranty offered by FORD Performance; is on their Procal tool and the tune only. Has nothing to do with the factory OEM warranty, nor does it take its place or void any part. The FP tune is the only authorized and accepted tune from Ford.

If you have an extended factory warranty, it doesn’t affect it either. Already went thru this with FP direct and Ford Warranty direct.

The direct email from FP Supervisor; is posted in a very long FP tune thread from the past.??

Does it matter where we buy the Procal Tune for the warranty to be valid? I thought I read somewhere that you have to get it installed not just at a Ford Dealer but also the Procal Tune has to be purchased from an authorized seller. Looks like Tire Rack has it for $670, the best price I'm seeing right now. Just wondering if that affects warranty.
