The full size is made at MAP. I’m not sure what you’d gain from seeing the comparison other than to say that the Broncos have massive outsold the Ranger which is pretty obvious. The real question in my mind would be, what balance will Ford try to make between filling the backlog of an extremely profitable vehicle that’s highly in demand and trying to capture as much of the sales spike that a new model generally gets in its first couple of years.
Ultimately it doesn’t matter to me other than to say I’ve got my fingers crossed that the Ranger launch goes well simple for the sake of selling enough volume to justify a healthy aftermarket.

Does anyone happen to have a historical table of the F-150 Raptor and or bronco raptor?

I'm curious out of the limited allocations how many units are produced on a month historically.

Well I know the Bronco units came out to about to about 107,010 (if I recall from another thread) for fiscal year 2022 and most sources of information indicate that only 2,000 to 3,000 bronco raptors were slated to be built in a one year time period.

On the flipside almost 800,000 F-150s were made with about 30,000 being Raptors in various configurations.

So that tells us....

..basically jack crap in regards to the Ranger. lol

Without Ford indicating how many batches they plan to do in a fiscal year, I can't even get a gauge on even guessing units per month. If we knew how many total units were planned in a fiscal year we could at least make some round about guesses.

If we take your data to be true and then we compare it with the sales data at the beginning of the thread, we get a number of 57k Rangers to 107k Broncos. This is about a 34% mix of Rangers at MAP. It’s hard to know if that mix will change. On the one hand, the Bronco is still selling like hot cakes but I am starting to see some of the lower trims sit in the show room lately. On the other, a new model introduction always has the highest sales in the first year (and should exceed 2022 and 2023 totals). Now, my guess is that the majority of buyers are holding out for the 2.7L which isn’t available in Job 1. So Job 1 will be prioritized for Press Cars, Test Cars, and as many 2.3L units as they can pump out to actually get the truck onto lots for people to look at. I would also guess that commercial trims are going to be pumped out well to capture as many fleet upgrades as possible. If we go by the assumption that there will only be the initial 3,000 Raptor units in Job 1 and the Q4 allotments will be Job 2, then theoretically that could represent 6,000 to 7,000 Raptors in the 24 MY. Approximately a 10% take rate on that Trim. As to how those Raptors will be prioritized in production, there is incentive for Ford to get those models to dealers under the assumption they are spoken for to increase cash flow since they are essentially already sold. Dealers would prefer this, too. This is all based on a ton of assumptions, cocktail napkin math, and uneducated guessing.

Ultimately, though, you could pull your hair out trying to guess these things and while it may make for a diversion while we’re waiting for delivery, it won’t make anything happen any sooner or later.

These numbers were posted on this forum a while back, they DO NOT match the numbers that were posted earlier today. Something is wrong here, there are discrepancies here so which is correct, if any of it is?

I think I found the problem, the 12,618 number is the 2nd quarter result, not just June '23, per this Ford report. The GCBC report is incorrect.
