Put a Wagner Intercooler on the 2.7 today.

With plans to utilize Raptor intake/chargepipe/big intercooler scrapped due to the 2.7s EGR i went with the largest stock placement intercooler currently available for the 2.7s, you could throw one on the 2.3 as well.

Wagner only lists thier intercooler for the 2.7 for the bronco, but it fits the Ranger and it is the largest by frontal area/volume stock location intercooler. Its the same exact wagner intercooler as the Raptors with a different (single outlet) cast end cap. You can see from the pics that the intercooler is taller and unable to use the top grommet locations, you have to remove the front louver/intercooler cross support bar, and that is where the hanging brackets for the Wagner mount, where others go for a deeper cooler with stock frontal area for easy stock mounting. Just FYI for thoseshipping.

This intercooler is also available from Amazon for $515 with free shiiping.

Well shit Nathan, i deffienately will next time, the thought of even a price match on this didnt cross.my mind as it would be offensive to ask

Next up is intake and charge pipes waiting to see what injen comes up with on both, maybe S&B intake if the decide to add the driver turbo crossover pipe. I will make sure i call you first sir.

Im going opposite direction. Gonna try your 2.7 setup. The two hotside pipes are so tight when you increase the diameter.

Well glad something good came of the 2.7-3.0 mod swap ideas . Yea the 3.0 deff makes a tight space with upgraded charge pipes all in the front right corner.

I was hard looking at these exact pipes, then Injen responded to a question i sent a while back saying their ceo just bought a 2.7 Ranger and they are developing intake/charge pipes, etc. at the moment. So im ecited to see what they put out

No offense but i dont think I'd put anything from temu on any part of the drive train of a vehicle.

That thing is up to $690 on Amazon now. Do you have a catchcan on your 2.7 as well?
