This is specifically made for the G6 Rangers and is safe for side curtain airbags... I am a big Raingler fan and have used several nets in the past, but I have some doubts about this one since it only has four anchor points instead of six or eight. They use a steel bracket at the top of each B pillar. Here are the instructions.

They are definitely not cheap like the Muscology toy nets, but they are made in USA and crazy strong. Thanks for any comments on the Ranger net.

One huge problem with anchoring the bottom straps to the front seat tracks is that you cannot reach around the console and access the floor space from the front seats - on previous vehicles I secured the net to the front of the REAR seat mounts, and that allowed full and easy access. I am not sure if that would work with a Ranger.

if i ever needed a divider for the front and rear of hte truck, i now know where to go.

i am going to look at their wrangler stuff. i always comment that we need something in the wife's jeep that separate the seating area from the luggage area

Two dogs at times, and soon I will have a Karga over the seat platform there with lots of loose camping gear on it…

These nets are for soft stuff mainly, they will not stop a 50 pound steel tool box or a large fridge full of beer in a high speed collision! For that you need a steel barrier like the UPS trucks use… Milford in Australia probably offers one of those for $$$$$.

The attached pic is of a Series 80 net repurposed in a Ram 3500, with a raised platform under the dogs, who were 40 pounds each. Maybe that load was borderline unsafe..

Holy crap! This is EXACTLY what I need! I’ve got a 90lb. Doberman that gets awfully pushy onto the center console after a long period of time cruising. Dobie paws are huge along with that chest & head and to say the sucker is strong is an understatement. Not always the safest to be tug-a-waring him back at 70 mph. The setup with your dogs just got the wheels turning….

Thanks from the other side of The Cascades in Tacoma!

FYI this was my Land Cruiser 200 Raingler setup, I extended the bottom net connections all the way back to around the rear seat belt mounts, it pulled the net hard against the front surface of the rear seat cushions, giving lots of room to reach stuff on the floor. Also note that there is a second “universal” net behind the second row seats, to separate the dogs from the luggage and other gear. Obviously that is not needed in a Ranger…

Raingler carries a great selection of straps, footman loops, and tie downs too, all are high quality and affordable.

i was hoping they had some kind of grab handle for the driver side of our trucks, like they offer for jeeps, but no-go
