A few minor criticisms, from someone who's sold a few cars:

Ditch those seat covers, the steering wheel cover, and then clean the engine bay. Clean the tires, but don't put snot all over them; just go for satin. It makes a difference; especially with white letters.

Be sure to take good pictures; not more pictures. The main entryway shot isn't even level, and you had a lens flare problem on the shoot. Move the truck when that happens; not the camera; or just wait for the right time. Cars look great at golden hour.

On that same point, try to keep a consistent background, and ensure you've got shots that allow the viewer to place themselves in or about the car in their imagination. Photography should take at least an hour. You're trying to part someone from tens of thousands of dollars, after all.

Perhaps most importantly:

Use a proper listing description instead of a text wall of features. That's Autotrader-level stuff. You don't want Autotrader-level stuff in your listing. You're wasting attention on things that don't matter. Show, don't tell, on that note. You've already got a shot of the window sticker.

The five people who are interested in option lists will read it. It's fine to have a long description (just look at this post), but it needs to flow and feel tailored (unlike this post). Don't forget to use paragraphs.

Ensure you place the advertisement where interested parties will see it. This isn't the best forum to use for the previous generation Ranger; but more importantly, you must remember that, on vehicle-specific forums, nearly everyone has the vehicle already. You need to branch out.

Hopefully it sells soon for you.

If this type of post is not allowed here, I apologize and will accept whatever the Moderators decide should happen.

I posted my 2022 Ranger for sale here in the forums 2 months ago. There hasn't been a single comment or question on her. I just reduced the price $2000 in the hopes that somebody might see the deal and take advantage of it, or, as a minimum, pass it along to somebody looking for a nice used truck. It is at the minimum market value for just the truck itself even though it has a custom cap and several nice add-ons included.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I am all ears!

I would list it on the Ranger5g.com site. Great people there!

I was kind of hoping that maybe someone would share it with friends or family that might be looking for a slightly used Ranger...
Auto trader gives decent results, FB marketplace is a joke and all flippers. Sold my husbands truck on auto trader in a couple weeks.

Thank you for this. this is some feedback that I was looking for two months ago when I first posted the sale. Have an offer from a local dealer that isn't terrible I guess. It's $3K more than the other dealers offered. Still....have to verify it is legit. Have real trust issues with most dealerships, especially when selling them something...

Jump on the offer from the dealer quickly. I had an offers on my Ford Escape from Carvana, CarMax and AutoNation. Waited too long and had to resubmit for a new offers, Carvana wouldn't make an offer and the other two cut their offers in half. I still have the Escape. Bad timing on my part and the grandson is getting a "free" car. LOL
Good luck

I have always had great results on craigslist. Sold a 2010 Ford Ranger Sport with 56,000 miles on it in January for 15000. I payed 15800 for it brand new. I had several people calling about it. I sold it 15 minutes after posting it

Craigslist is always worth a shot, but it's important to remember that slightly older vehicles are now climbing in value, and there's inflation to consider. I would expect a decent amount for that truck.

Within the past few years, everything has changed when it comes to automobiles, and truck/SUV buyers have noticed. I certainly have. 4WD models especially can command surprising prices.

I've sold a few cars on Craigslist, and bought a few; some internationally. It's not really what it used to be but, it's there, so use it.

carvana is going to be your best bet. i know, for myself, i wouldn't even consider a 5G. i had one as a loaner for a week and hated the truck overall. Part of the disappointment was the ride quality due to the tires it had and the very dated feeling interior. otherwise it wasn't bad. i traded in my '22 Bronco Badlands like 4 weeks ago at $42.5k trade and the dealer sold it in 3 days at $45k and 31k miles. Sticker was $53k when i got it. Got the Ranger Raptor for $2600 under sticker
