Ranger Raptor Auxiliary Load

Hi, apologies if this is answered elsewhere, about to pickup my Raptor Ranger and want to fit some Baja Designs lights, have ordered a 30” onyx 6 and two pair of XL80 auxiliaries, if all on together on high this is about 50A, will std battery and alternator handles this? The lights have BMT built in and there is a controller option but was planning on using the 6 switch bank that is std.

any advice appreciated, if I need to plan for mods just want to get ahead of it.

Wow that seems like a lot but I certainly not experienced or an expert by any means. Think I will seek advice from some electrical tech’s at some of your local ford dealerships and off road shops.
I read a lot of issues with batteries and fords battery management systems in the Maverick and F150 forums. You’d think they’re designed for this kind of stuff but who knows. Just a thought….

The standard battery and alternator will run this but it will have to be running. Most alternator don't put out max unless engine is close to max rpm. At idle it should do probably around 75A or so which will run your lights but not really going to charge everything. I know the Raptor auxiliary switches are only rated(fuse) from 5A to 25A. If you want the rating let me know and I can send them.

Thx, i do a bit of country driving and that can mean anything from Kangaroos, Goats and Wombats, so you want to see them from a long way off. These will only ever be at this load at 100km/hr (+) sounds like I should be ok if I relay everything with std switches., thx for prompt and good replies.

Car and driver website lists the RR alternator as 150 amp max output
