Ranger Raptor Builds at SEMA 2024: Rival 4x4 and Maxliner

My first SEMA and its pretty crazy. The number of people and things to see is almost overwhelming. There is sort of 4-5 halls and in 2 days we were able to see 2 of them. But to say we saw everything in those 2 halls is a stretch.

We were able to find 2 Ranger Raptors.. One in the @RIVAL 4x4 booth. Pretty nice truck, nothing crazy. It had almost 35s on and were selling aluminum skid plates. It had a nice bed cover and a roof rack as well.

The Maxliner booth had a interesting topper and some door bumpers/protection. They have been selling overseas for quite some time and are looking to sell in the US soon. Maxliner is not a US company.

Wheels are 17x8.5 +25 Offset
Lift is not on yet, we should have the time to install it on Friday.

Let us know if you find any cool mods for the lower trims too. Maybe start new thread on those. We're not all ballers like you, lol

SEMA is a blast. 63K steps last year in 3 days. My friends built "Hammerhead" 73 Trans Am. Look it up. also there this year.

I’ll be following along. Currently debating between a bed cap vs a diamondback cover.

They are KMC IMS wheels. Not sure of the sizing. If I had to guess though 17x8.5 +25 offset. Tires no clue

I was waiting for Titan7 to make a set. But unfortunately they have non planned for the Ranger Raptor platform.

They have some that are +20 offset but they are 18in. It’s bummer that wheel choice is limited because of offset unless you want a ton of poke. Seems most newer vehicles are using higher offsets so hopefully more wheels will be available eventually. I’m currently running 4gen Tacoma spec wheels on my RR

It was the largest show I have ever been to, and I for work I have been to quite a few, CES, OFC, Mobile World Congress, etc. Not only does it fill every hall it flows into the streets, sidewalks and parking lots around the convention center. I never made it into the 2 story south hall or AAPEX... so I probably only saw half the show that was inside... and yeah.. 15-20k steps a day.

Around every corner is a Ferrari, Maclaren and/or Cyber Truck.... maybe 100 Cyber trucks? Very little for Rangers. I know I saw one other one.. maybe a second. Seems it was all about going BIG. Maybe 60-75 F150 Raptors and similar number of Broncos. Also tons of Toyota trucks.

We were shopping for my wife's Ranger Raptor.. looking for either a topper or topper/camper combo... like a GFC type setup... or a topper with a RTT. Lots to look at and consider. We'll see. I did like the Westin topper.. it might be an option.

The Maxliner seems like nice product with pretty interesting options. I am not sure we are in love with the look. The Westin truck cap seemed very interesting.. We may be leaning in that direction.

I will add a few photos of some of the crazy/cool vehicles... some you may have already seen.

Some pics... The Olympia Bronco was cool.. The two Hummer 6x6s were pretty crazy... The Hoonigan car was awesome and a bit emotional for me... notice the ghosts on it... a few others attached.

Did you see any new (ideally Ranger specific / fitting) lightbar options from the likes of Baja Designs at all there?
