So I found a 3D printing file that extends the floor HVAC vents on Ford f-150s. I printed them out and then discovered that they are too narrow to slip over the piece that is already installed. If you pull on the OEM pieces they disconnect under the carpet. I cut them down at the end where the air exits and pushed them into the 3D prints. I made sure that I took off a little bit at a time to make sure that they were snug inside of the printed pieces. They turned out really well and since they aren't permanently affixed, as they are just using friction, if somebody kicks into them with their feet they'll just move around instead of breaking anything. Time will tell how good they last though.
