No need...FP Tune 100 % CARB approved in Cail early 2025 🤘
lol nice! I don’t know the tune got cleared. Considering Carb is just about abolished hopefully it will be fully defunded by next year. No more emissions possible by the end of this September.

not sure why it has to be a ranger "Raptor" advice but lol. all the talk about the paint but if your really off-roading then get a fluid film undercoating right off the bat. again if your actually offloading rip them running boards off asap. who cares about the paint or resale you just got a raptor. Go rip that thing in some trails and go hard! I like to put it into tow mode occasionally otherwise it won't touch every gear. I do that to keep those parts going in the tranny. I assume with your extra power the tranny would skip those gears unless in tow mode too. looks like your in CA, I would hit glammis lol

So the paint will harden up? Mine scratches when you look at it. And I got my car in June.
Yes. If you look at my prior posts from when I got the truck a year ago I think you will see that I said the same thing. Might have said 'breathe' on it. Lol. Not an expert but I was in the car business for a while. Dealt with lots of paint flaws on brand new cars. I think it can take as long as 3 to 6 months for paint to fully cure. Depends on the environment and the paint. Ford paint also seems very thin. Most likely a cost cutting decision.

Most of my rock chips are on the bed sides, ahead of the rear wheels. I recommend PPF at minimum on the front quarter, mirror caps and in front of the wheels on the bed sides. While I did not do PPF due to the cost, I will next time.

I did do ceramic myself. Chemical Guys has a nice kit. It's not cheap for the ceramic at $120 for the bottle and applicator, but it will cover more than one car at that price. It is a multi-step process where you should clean it thoroughly, then clay it, then wax it, then apply the ceramic. It took me a full day but was worth it when I was done. I did this more for paint protection, ease of subsequent cleaning and shine. PPF is necessary for avoiding rock chips as ceramic can't help you there.
