Hey guys, need a little help. Anyone else experienced this and have a fix?
All requirements are met- doors locked, in park, etc.
Vehicle is not in deep sleep mode- driven the prior day.
Remote start used to work fine, and it's enabled in settings.
I've now experienced multiple failures with Ford Pass AND using the key fob (which gives a red light when the remote start fails). The fob failure was after a few Ford Pass failures though.
Phone has service, key fob was only about 30 feet away. I have restarted my device with no luck.

Any thoughts?

I know for sure that you have only two remote starts via ford pass and then you need to drive the car.

Good to know, that for sure explains the key fob failure then. I wonder if the truck didn't have cell service...I will need to experiment with that.

I had similar issues, turns out the passanger rear door was not shut all the way. I did not get any warnings. The door was slightly ajar.

Good afternoon, please send a DM with your VIN and local Ford dealer and we can investigate this concern with your remote start. Thanks!

I have had similar issues with the driver door. It looks shut, but I guess not completely.
I have learned that if my mirrors don't fold when I lock it, something isn't quite shut.

But I have also had problems where the truck's cellular connection was temporarily unavailable and couldn't start thru Ford Pass, although the fob still worked.

So this morning, the scheduled start failed again. I hit the door lock button in Ford Pass, which successfully locked it (even though it was already locked with mirrors folded) then a manual remote start in Ford Pass worked fine. Weird.
At any rate, I have to pick up a bed mat at the dealership today, I'm going to see if they have a minute to take a look at it. I suspect it's either a modem issue, or just a basic connectivity issue.

Trying locking it (even though already locked) and then remote start. Seems to fix mine when it won't remote start from the FOB.
Correct, prior to doing the 2X remote start button you must first hit the lock button and then hit the start button on your remote first, you must hit the low button first even thought the truck is already locked. took me quite a it to figure that out

Did you try reprogramming your scheduled starts?
Scheduled starts will be disabled if you don't get in and turn the key before it shuts down for 2 (or is 3,4) consecutive scheduled starts.

I haven't, but I've never let the time run out on it either. Good idea though.

Also, on the 5G, things like this were signs of battery going weak. I wouldn't expect that on a '24 model but might be something to check.

Worth checking for sure, even if it's unlikely. I can look at it today.
