Remote start with phone app

My Ford phone app will no longer start my vehicle. Just stopped doing so a few days ago. It will start remotely with the key fob and then show as started on the app and let me change the climate settings, etc. The app does allow me to lock, unlock, etc. just not start the vehicle. Any suggestions?

Someone suggested deleting and reinstalling the app. Or, suggested the truck may be going into sleep mode. What is that? Is it a setting somewhere?

Sleep mode is what the truck does to conserve power if you haven’t started it in a while — I believe a week.

That makes sense as I did not use it for 5 days over the new years day holiday. Will it go back out of sleep mode (if that makes sense)? Or, do I have to change a setting or drive it awhile? Thanks.

Fixed! It was in sleep mode from not using it for about 5 days over the holidays. And, only using the remote start from the key fob. The fix was to start it from inside the truck using the push button and let run for a few minutes. It reset the connectivity. Thanks everyone.

left RR sitting at home in garage with battery tender. Still got battery saver mode after several days with battery tender slowing battery was full charged. Ranger sets for several months during the winter and I like to check on it with The Ford app. Never seen my 2020 Edge St go into battery saver with Battery Tender connected for several months.
