Recently received and installed the Rival 4x4 USA forged aluminum engine skid on my '24 XLT. Super easy install especially since my truck wasn't equipped with any skid plates from the factory, but the process would be nearly identical on FX4 and Raptor trucks.

Overall fit and finish of the skid and the shipping packaging was all good. I'd be a bit concerned about the oil drain cover fasteners if I was going to be doing heavy rock crawling (look like they could get snagged/damaged) but it shouldn't be an issue with my planned use and I use an extractor for my oil changes so I won't be removing the panel.

I have the rest of the Rival skids on order and will also be doing install videos for those when I receive them.

Fits well. The trap door is a nice touch.

I think these are the best looking skids for main under body protection besides maybe the pirate, but pirate changes stock front skid and that stock skid is nice so rival for the win! These are my next order!

I just wish Rival would offer their aluminum radiator skid in the US. Since my non-FX4 truck doesn't even have the factory steel one I'd be more than happy to pay Rival's price for their aluminum one over having to shell out big money for Ford's OEM one.

Unfortunately it's pretty hard to get the Pirate stuff across the pond (and may get much harder next year) otherwise I'd be grabbing a lot more of their stuff.

oooo, super silver r35 twinsies.
It's a problem child that I honestly wish was "stock" but when I have it running it's a hoot. Really hate the silver though, hoping to get it wrapped at some point.

? ss was not my first choice either. Not to mention is a hard color to color match.

fbo & e85 has plenty of power for my needs, anything more becomes a stupid money pit.

Can confirm they become a money pit. Mine has a built motor and trans and runs somewhere north of 1000awhp on 91 pump gas :sunglasses: It's stupid fast on track but now needs way more tire and would really benefit from aero.
