Rock and crawl mode

So, with the drive modes that you get with a 4x4 Ranger can a "rock crawl" more be added or substituted for one of the others? I know that there is no locker in the front axle. My thinking is in rock crawl mode the brakes will compensate for wheel spin sooner.
